Lloydminster & District Co-op Announces New Gateway Co-op Car Wash & Convenience Opening Early 2027
Lloydminster, SK/AB — Lloydminster & District Co-op is excited to announce plans for the new Gateway Co-op Car Wash & Convenience, set to open in early 2027 within the city’s latest
development: Lakeside Gateway. This addition reflects Co-op’s commitment to meeting growing community needs while supporting long-term strategic growth.
The new site will feature a Car Wash featuring two automatic car wash bays and eight wand-wash bays, supporting the demand currently experienced at their Southview Car Wash location. The adjacent Co-op Convenience store will provide expanded services designed for accessibility, comfort, and quick-stop convenience.

The Lakeside Gateway development is quickly becoming a hub for new activity, and this addition by Lloydminster & District Co-op reinforces the organization’s commitment to their mission: Members Together, Growing Community. The new car wash and convenience store will complement existing Co-op locations while broadening access to essential amenities within the community.
This announcement marks the beginning of the development phase, with site work expected to begin in the coming month. Lloydminster & District Co-op will release further updates as the project progresses, including hiring opportunities and grand-opening details.
