Kitscoty RCMP lay charges in break and enter investigation
Kitscoty, Alta. – On Nov. 5, 2023, Kitscoty RCMP responded to a break and enter to a business compound south of Highway 619 in Paradise Valley. An employee of the business reported observing a suspicious vehicle and several people within the compound. RCMP attended and observed a SUV with a large amount of cooper wire in the rear hatch. Queries were conducted which showed the SUV was stolen.
RCMP observed a female, walking within the compound, who was arrested without incident. Lloydminster Police Dog Services (PDS) attended the compound and successfully located an additional two suspects, who were subsequently arrested.
CCTV was reviewed and revealed a fourth suspect involved in the break in. A warrant was sought and executed successfully on the fourth suspect, who was arrested by Lloydminster RCMP at a later date.
“This investigation was helped greatly by the contributions of the people who reported the incident,” said Cst. McMahon of the Kitscoty RCMP. “There was no delay in calling police and as a result we were able to successfully locate the suspects without significant difficulty.”
As a result of the investigation, Allea Geraldine Lameman (27), a resident of Onion Lake Cree Nation, Mitchell Wright (31), a resident of Lloydminster as well as Tessa Lynn Rose Lameman (29) and Daniel Ivan Meesto (45), both residents of Marshall, were charged with:
